Japanese Gardens

Moss covered stepping stones and cascading waterfalls invite you into this enchanting garden. Designed in 1936, the Japanese Garden offers a tranquil setting complete with koi ponds, footbridges and carefully selected stones forming Mr. North Wind, Crouching Tiger and The Sea Turtle.  Beautiful peonies, rhododendrons, daffodils and azaleas compliment the topiary landscape. A tented reception site is surrounded by views of rolling hills and the breathtaking Susquehanna River, a beautiful setting for an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.
